WOMEN TO WOMEN MENTORING
You don’t need to be an expert to support someone. Make a difference with your unique experiences and skills. Mentor and support other women and help them succeed! If you want to become a mentor or request for one, please use the registration form at the bottom and enter your information. You will be then listed as a mentor or mentee on our page so people can connect with you through email.
Any body can ask someone to mentor them when they see that person listed as a mentor.
Most people spend about an hour per week talking to their Mentor/Mentee and reviewing things. Include information about how and how much you prefer to communicate when you sign up so that people can decide if your availability matches their needs.
Anyone who has experience and a skill to share can offer support in the mentorship program. Your mentor’s advice is their own opinion and not that of SoCal Tamil Organizations or their admins/Committee members. All participation is voluntary. Your mentor’s advice is not meant to substitute professional advice.
Yes. You can browse the profiles of potential mentors/mentees and start a conversation with people who seem promising. Group members may also see your profile and send you a message if they think that you may be a good match. You’ll have a few days to get to know each other and make sure that you want to continue the mentorship. As more people join the program, you’ll be able to see their profiles on the page
You and your mentorship partner will be connected one to one through thie email. There, you’ll receive program guidance and be able to send and receive messages from each other. All participation is voluntary and no money should be exchanged through this program. If you decide to meet up in person, be safe and meet in a public place.
The rules of your group apply within your mentorship profile and programme. Any recommendations must comply with the same rules for your group concerning commerce or promotional material
